Unlike other modules, you canβt add people directly from the Company Persons list. Instead, youβll create them through a company profile.
Youβll then enter details like name, role, email, and phone. You can also include multiple contact points or add internal notes.
Once a person is added to a company, they will automatically appear in the CRM β Company Persons list. This list is a quick way to find or filter all individuals across your CRM β but itβs read-only.
If you double-click on a contact in this view, Triark will take you directly to the company that person belongs to. From there, you can view or edit their information.
Requiring a company connection ensures cleaner data, better structure, and reliable filtering across Triark. Every person you add will always have context β youβll never end up with isolated or disconnected contact records.
Can I add a person without a company?
No β every contact must be tied to a company to be created.
Why canβt I add someone from the list view?
The list view is for browsing and filtering existing contacts. All new entries must be created from a company profile under the Persons tab.
What happens if a person changes companies?
You can add the same person to multiple companies. Just go to the new companyβs Persons tab, click + Person, and begin typing their name. If a match exists, youβll see a suggestion β select it to reuse the personβs information.
Can one person be linked to more than one company?
Yes β the same person can be associated with multiple companies in Triark. To do this, go to the Persons tab under the company you want to add them to, click + Person, and start typing their name in the First Name field. If a matching contact already exists, Triark will display suggestions. Select the correct person from the list, and their existing information (email, phone, etc.) will be reused automatically. You can still update their role or add context-specific details for that particular company connection.
