Project Access lets you define who can do what in a project.
Instead of giving global permissions, you can limit access to:
- Project info
- Status
- Company
- Persons
- WBS
- Folder
- Zone
- Security
- Log

Select between Reader and Standard to define the basic access level.
User Type
Description
Reader
Read-only access. The user can see the data but cannot change anything.
Standard
Full access based on the permissions you assign (read, write, delete).
π οΈ How to Add Project Access
- Go to Project Access Tab
Open your project and click the Project Access tab. - Click + Access
Opens the user selection panel on the right. - Select User Type
Choose Reader or Standard. - Select User
Pick the user from the dropdown list. - Define Permissions
Check the boxes for:You can set permissions for each part of the project individually. - Click Save and Close
The user now has project-specific access.
ποΈ How to Remove Access
- Select the user in the list
- Click Delete
- Confirm the deletion in the pop-up

Project Manager
Full access (read/write/delete) to all areas
Engineer
Read/write to WBS, Folder, and Zone. Read-only for other parts.

Read-only access to Project Info, Status, and Log

Q: Can I change access later?
Yes, you can update or remove access at any time in the Project Access tab.
Q: What happens if I give someone only Read access?
They can see the data but wonβt be able to modify or delete anything.
Q: Do Project Access settings override global user roles?
No. Project Access is in addition to global roles and controls project-specific permissions only.
Q: Can I bulk assign access to multiple users at once?
Currently, you need to add access one user at a time per project.
