➕ Creating and Editing a Company

In Triark Cloud, you can create new companies or edit existing ones to keep your CRM data up to date. This article explains how to add company information, track statuses, and manage updates.

Adding companies to Triark helps you:

  • Track suppliers, partners, and customers
  • Register subcontractors or internal departments
  • Keep contact information updated
  • Connect companies to projects, document, products and more
  • Monitor company statuses for compliance and procurement

🖱️ How to Create a Company

  1. Open the Company List
    Go to CRM → Companies in the left menu.
  2. Click "+ Company"
    Opens the company creation panel on the right side.
  3. Fill Out the Company Fields
Field
Purpose
Name
The official company name.
Organization Number
The company’s national or internal ID.
Category
Defines the company’s role (e.g., Supplier, Partner, Developer).
Segment
Private, Public, or other segment classification.
Status
Current relationship status (e.g., OK, On Hold, Bankruptcy).
Address and Contact
Company’s main contact information and address.
Notes
Optional free text for extra information.
  1. Click Save
    Your company is now registered in the system.

✏️ How to Edit a Company

  1. Open the Company List
  2. Double-click the Company Record
    This opens the details view.
  3. Edit the Fields as Needed
    Update addresses, contacts, categories, or status.
  4. Click Save
    Changes will be saved and applied immediately.

🛠️ Example Use Case: Updating a Supplier’s Status

A project manager updates a supplier:

  • Opens the supplier in the company list
  • Changes the status from On Hold to OK after financial checks
  • Updates the address and contact person
  • Saves the changes for future procurement use

🔒 Security & Access

  • Who can create and edit companies?
    Users with sufficient permissions.
  • Who can view company details?
    All users with CRM module access can view companies.

Q: Can I change a company’s category later?
Yes, categories can be updated if the company’s role changes.
